2020 Boat Race crews (women) #StayHome #StaySafe #Stay Healthy #NoBoatRace

On this day when the 2020 Boat Races would have taken place, we want to acknowledge the strength of our rowing community in uncertain times and appreciate those who are working to help people in need.

There is a different kind of race going on, in every country, every home and every community.  We know members of both the Oxford and Cambridge boat club communities are working to find solutions, working to support their families,  communities and businesses.  Working together to help us all.

Taking part in the Boat Race is an eight-month experience, a personal journey of physical and mental growth and a team building journey like no other.  One where we have sat in opposition to our DarkBlue counterparts but now, we stand united in our desire to beat a much bigger rival for all our sakes.

We thank those who have supported us this season: our coaches, support staff, executive committee, friends and family. We are committed to helping each other through remote training initiatives, and the wider community through volunteering and doing the right thing;

#StayHome #StayHealthy #StayPositive

The 2020 squad loved training together and have come away with lifelong friendships as well as an appreciation for how lucky we are to have each other. Stay tuned for updates about our home training and Row Britannia team. We send best wishes to the rowing community and beyond.

We can’t wait to row together again when we have weathered this challenge. The Goldie gym and the River Great Ouse will be waiting for us when the time is right to return.
