We can be immensely proud that 3 ex-CUWBC rowers are competing in the GB rowing team in Athens and are strong medal contenders.
They are:
Cath Bishop
Pembroke. Blue Boat 1991 & 1993
Athens is Cath’s 3rd Olympics. She is competing in the pair with Kath Grainger. This pair won the 2003 World Championships and have won the overall World Cup title this season
Alison Mowbray
Caius. Blue Boat 1994 & 1995. CUWBC President 1995
Alison competed at the Sydney Olympics. She is in the quad, which also took the World Cup title this season
Sarah Winckless
Fitzwilliam. Blue Boat 1995, 1996, 1997. CUWBC President 1997
Sarah was also at the Sydney Olympics. She is competing in the Double Scull at Olympics

- Monday 16th August – Repecharges for pair and double
- Tuesday 17th August – Repecharges for the quad
- Saturday 21st August – Pairs final and Doubles final
