Cambridge University Women’s Boat Club (CUWBC) will race against the University of London Boat Club (ULBC) tomorrow (Saturday 17th February) as part of the preparations for the 2018 Cancer Research UK Boat Race.
The crews will take part in race pieces on the Championship Course between Putney and Mortlake, starting at 13:10.
Cambridge raced against ULBC during their preparations for last year’s Boat Race, the report is here. This year’s ULBC crew will contain 2 former CUWBC athletes; 2016 President Hannah Roberts, and Oonagh Cousins who learned to row at Caius College Boat Club, Cambridge and represented Great Britain at the World U23 Championships last year.
Immediately after the CUWBC vs. ULBC fixture, the CUWBC 2nd VIII will race against Imperial College Boat Club, also on the famous Championship Course.
