CUWBC Lightweights Set Challenge


This morning at Henley’s River & Rowing Museum, Tricia Smith, CUWBC’s Lightweight Captain, formally challenged her Oxford counterpart ahead of the Henley Boat Races which will take place on Saturday 19 March.

The race is held over a 2000m course from Phyllis Court to Temple Island along the famous ‘Henley Reach’. Last year, the Cambridge lightweight crew defeated Oxford by just 3 feet.

The Henley Boat Races Lightweight Women’s race will take place on March 19th 2016 at 15:00 with the spare pair racing at 14:30.
