As we prepare to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Women’s Boat Race and the 200th anniversary of The Boat Race in 2029, an important part of the celebrations will be sharing material from the Club archive, which now includes around 1,000 items gathered over the past two years.
These events offer an opportunity to enrich the archive further, and we would be delighted if they prompted you to share photographs, home movies, memorabilia or kit from your own time with the Club, whether as items, loans or images.
Memorabilia can include:
- Photographs (personal rather than professional)
- Digital images (personal rather than professional)
- Movie clips
- Audio recordings
- Press cuttings
- Publications
- Trophies/pennants/medals
- Oars
- Rudders
- Coaching Prows
- Kit/clothing: We are documenting Club kit through the decades and welcome photographs from your time rowing, as well as images of any kit you may still own
