Our commitment to providing our rowers a rigorous and formative experience remains firm. But to do that we need your support.
- The Pulling Together Fund provides in-year support for the Club’s six funding priorities, and gifts can be made on a recurring or one-off basis.
- Gifts to the endowment are protected and invested, with only the income applied to the six funding priorities.
Those wishing to support the Club can also do so by leaving a legacy, either in support of the Pulling Together Fund or the endowment.

Boat Naming Queue
We are grateful to those who support the Club by funding the purchase of a racing shell, whether as an individual, crew, or squad. In recognition of this generosity, donors have the opportunity to name a boat and become part of the Club’s ongoing history.
In addition to the Eights listed below, naming opportunities are available for Singles, Pairs, Doubles, Fours, and Launches. If you would like to support the Club in this way, please contact Sarah-Kate Roberts, Head of Philanthropy and Communications, at sarah-kate@cubc.org.uk.
Current pledges towards the funding of Eights can be found below. We are pleased to welcome gifts fulfilled through multi-year instalments, enabling supporters to spread their contribution over a period of time.
For the Openweight Squads, new Eights are purchased every three years and remain in active use for six years, serving across three Boat Races and three further Reserve Boat Races. For the Lightweight Squads, new Eights are purchased every six years and are typically raced in six Lightweight Boat Races.

Current Eight: generously funded by members of the 1986 Blue Boat
2028-31 Eight: funding pledged by a member of Goldie 1963, Blue Boat 1964
2031-33 Eight: funding pledged by members of the 1996 Blue Boat and Goldie crew
