Two CUBC rowers are among the 42 U23 athletes selected to represent Great Britain at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Poznań, Poland, from 23-27 July.
Ellie Sillar (Emmanuel), a member of the victorious Blondie crews in both 2025 and 2026, and Pat Wild (Peterhouse), who raced in this year’s winning Men’s Blue Boat, have both earned selection. Ellie will compete in the Women’s Eight, while Pat has been named in the Men’s Eight.
With World Rowing’s new progression system eliminating repechages, crews will need to perform at their very best from the outset.
