Alumni

Rowing for Cambridge is a  profound, life-defining experience and the current squad owe a great debt to the crews who have gone before.

Every woman and man who has represented Cambridge University Boat Club becomes a life member of the Club. Our network extends around the globe, with Light Blue supporters cheering us on from far and wide.

For alumni wishing to get involved, there are many ways to support the Club. Cambridge University Boat Club is run by alumni volunteers who assist with every aspect of the Club, from organising alumni activities to talent identification to operational support. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact our Sarah Shipton (Blue Boat 2001, 02), our Volunteer Coordinator at alumni@cubc.org.uk

You can also support the Club in other ways – by making a gift, purchasing merchandise, attending events, or by hosting crews when we visit the Tideway for training or racing. Find out about funding opportunities here.

Alumni are always welcome to visit Ely or Goldie Boathouses. Our boathouses are also available for hire by contacting info@cambridgerowingevents.com.
