Goldie and Lightweight Crews to race this weekend


This weekend marks the first fixtures for CUBC’s men’s crews as they take on Thames Rowing Club and Westminster School.

The Club’s Goldie crew will race Thames Rowing Club, the most prolific Club Henley winners of the last decade. The crew is headlined by New Zealand Olympian James Hunter (St. Catharine’s) who is backed up by King’s Luca Ferraro. Thames will take on Goldie over a number of pieces on the Tideway on Saturday, umpired by Goldie/Isis umpire Matt Smith. Pieces will commence from 3.00 pm.

The weekend’s racing will include a number of pieces where the CUBC Lightweights will take on Westminster, one of the country’s top school crews. CUBC’s Lightweight crew will be (from Stroke to Bow)
