In a great day for CUBC, CUBC crews took wins in two classes, whilst a third boat made the semi finals.
In a dominant race, Gemma King and Freya Sutcliffe won their final of the Championship Lwt 2- by 12 seconds over Surrey University. No such comprehensive victory was recorded by Miranda Clements, who took victory in Aspirational Lwt 1x by just 1.3 seconds over Camplin of the University of British Columbia.
After a time trial which saw them as the 3rd fastest crew in the Aspirational Academic 4-, and a strong win in their quarter final, CUBC’s AA4- met Oxford, and substantially closed the gap to their Dark Blue competitors, but went down by just over 2 seconds.
