CUBC annouces its crews for Women’s Eights Head of the River and Fixtures against Oxford Brookes.


In a big weekend of racing, 4 CUBC crews will take on national level opposition on the Tideway.

On Saturday 4th March, CUBC’s Women’s “A” Crew will take on crews from all over the UK as they race in the Women’s Eights Head of the River. Women’s Chief Coach Patrick Ryan sai, “I’m looking forward to seeing this crew prove themselves against national level opposition this weekend. It’s been several years since we raced the Head, and with three weeks to go before the Boat Race, it’s a great opportunity for this crew to show how they have stepped on”.

On Sunday, CUBC’s Men’s Crews will take on Oxford Brookes University in a series of clashes on the Tideway Course. CUBC Men’s Chief Coach Rob Baker commented, “We’re looking forward to the challenge of Brookes. Year on year they contiunue to produce fast crews, and racing against them is a key part of our run into the Boat Races”
