Throughout the year you will be pushed and pulled from every direction, you will experience highs and lows, wins and losses, and you will be squeezed for every ounce of potential in both your rowing and academic abilities.”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][stm_block_quote blockquote_style=”style_2″ bq_text=”The programme at CUBC is very well structured to allow for a high level of application to both academic and sporting interests. In my experience, there is no better way to learn about yourself as a person than to place yourself in an environment which demands such high levels of excellence in both physical and mental activity. In every environment you place yourself in, you will be pushed for more at every step of the way. Ultimately, with the support of your family, friends, and teammates you will emerge from the other side of the experience more resilient, more knowledgeable, and more capable than before.”][stm_block_quote blockquote_style=”style_2″ bq_text=”When the Boat Race has been and gone, and you have passed through the Senate House on your Graduation Day, you will be equipped with all the tools necessary to take your sporting and career aspirations in whatever direction you should choose. The memories made during your time at the club will last for a lifetime, and members continue to be involved and engaged with the club many moons on from their Boat Race years. The whole experience for me was incredibly gratifying and I, like the vast majority of my teammates, would do it all again in a heartbeat.”][stm_block_quote blockquote_style=”style_2″ bq_text=”An incredible experience for many. A life changing experience for most.”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”2331″ img_size=”large” add_caption=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]

Lance returned to GB Senior National Team representation in 2017, but retired in 2018. He now works for PWC as an Executive Support Manager, taking his drive for excellence to the business sphere.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
