Alumnae out in force at the 2019 World Rowing Championships

The 2019 World Rowing Championships start on Sunday 25th August in Linz, Austria

The World Rowing Championships is the most important event on the World Rowing calendar, following a series of World Cups through the summer season of racing.  This year, the racing will be very tightly fought as  is also the first Olympic Qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

With racing starting on Sunday 25th it will continue for 8 full days completing on  September 1st.

We are very proud to have 6 alumnae racing this week and Cambridge alumni will be represented flying 4 different flags in 5 different events! The most recent alum is  Ida Gørtz Jacobsen who was a member of the Blue Boat in the 2019 Boat Races

In addition there are also alumni from CUBC and CULRC racing, so there will be a variety of crews to cheer for!
