The Boat Race is the pinnacle of the year for our team and the squad has made excellent preparation in the lead up. We know that Oxford will put out a good crew and there will be close and exciting racing, as past results have seen crews separated by a matter of feet” Commented Chief Coach Robert Weber.
The CUWBC spare pair for the lightweight women’s squad will also race over 2000m at Henley and Freya Casson (Lady Margaret Boat Club) and Catherine Walker (Caius Boat Club) have been selected to represent CUWBC.
