CUWBC to Race Oxford Brookes in Boat Race prep

London, 2nd March. Cambridge University Women’s Boat Club (CUWBC) will race this weekend against Oxford Brookes University Boat Club (Brookes) on the River Thames in London on Sunday 3rd March as part of the preparations for the 2019 Women’s Boat Race.



The crews will take part in a number of race pieces on the Championship Course between Putney and Mortlake, starting at 10:30hrs and they will be boating from Thames Rowing Club.


Brookes have one of the strongest undergraduate rowing programmes in the UK, have over 30 wins in recent years at Henley Royal Regatta and have won multiple British Universities Championships titles.
